House of Light
Ministry and family update:
- The above scripture was chosen by Alon & Rajaa' as their wedding
verse. The wedding was a great blessing. The Lord's presence was obvious and
we give thanks to the Lord and to all of you for your prayers and
love. We are grateful for all those who could attend. You blessed
us by taking part. Your generous gifts to
the newly weds are tremendously appreciated. May the Lord give you
abundantly according to His wealth in glory in Christ Jesus.

- A group of 18 Messianic Jewish, Palestinian Arab, Israeli Arab King's
Kids + 7 leaders is going to Finland
August 8th-29th. There the youngsters will perform at the "World
Athletics", in churches and in public places.
Please pray that they will be filled with power from above to
share the gospel and gain souls for the Lord's glory.
- The youngsters who will be going to Finland will spend two weekends on
extensive practice, prayer and learning.
- We won't have a King's Kids camp in Israel this year!! We think it's
too much for us since we had a very busy year so far. Instead, we're
taking the youngsters and the families on two different one day trips.
This will be easier for us to organize. On one trip we'll have 8
people of OM (Operation Mobilization)
to help with the program.
- The House of Light families including many King's Kids who
come from these families will camp at Tabgah-
Sea of Galilee- for 4 days, July 28th-31st
- Prison visits are back to normal after a month's break. Anis is enthusiastic
as the Lord encouraged him by a phone call of prisoner Kh, a business man, married with children. Kh said the Lord spoke to him during this visits' break,
more than he ever spoke to him during the seven months attending the
meeting and hearing the gospel from Anis. (Let every flesh hide behind
the cross). The Holy Spirit shook and convicted him. Tears flooded
from his eyes and he knelt on his knees, asking for repentance, forgiveness
and healing. “I have experienced the grace of My Loving and Forgiving Father.
What will a man benefit if he gains the whole world yet loses his
own soul? Now and only now I have the assurance of my salvation. I
am HIS and I will never be the same again". Kh asked for a scripture from the Lord and HE gave him
Lamentation 3.
- Visiting the prisoner’s families open doors
for His grace to flow. We pray for the healing of a number of
them as they need to be on permanent heavy medication for physical
and psychological problems. The House of Light helps in this need.
- We still haven't had permission for a Russian speaking believer to
regularly join Anis to prisons. We still have a name in mind yet we
are waiting on the Lord to show us when and how, so he won't
get problems and inconvenience.
- We still haven't received permission to put some Christian
literature in the Prisons' Library. Maybe we need to write and ask
again, supported with your prayers.
- We have a 4 month break with our Christian counselor Christiane who needs to be in Switzerland for work and to try
to find prayer and financial support to be able to start volunteering
again in October. She usually helps two days in the House of
Light and two days in Bethlehem.
Meanwhile I, Nawal, am doing this through the teaching of my
Savior and the power of His Holy Spirit.
- Our German volunteer Johannes is safe back in his country with his
sweet family after a very fruitful year of serving with us here. Johannes,
who came at the age of 16, is a humble young servant of God.
He left us as he needs to continue his studies at the secondary school.
We already miss him.
- Our Dutch volunteers Ies & Jeane who are serving for the 5th year with us, and who
worked very hard for the wedding decoration and preparations,
are going to spend a month with their children in Holland as their daughter is expecting
her third baby due on July 25th. Before they leave they will
teach us - leaders - some creative ideas for our King's Kids Finland
camp as well as for our House of Light conference. Ies
is also working on a T-shirt design that we can use on our camp.
- We are expecting the arrival of new volunteers, a newly wed couple,
Remi and Sara who will come in September
to serve with us amongst the youngsters as well as in the office.
- Our daughter Ranaa' and her husband Zaher who serve amongst university
students will be in Sharm al Sheikh/Egypt
for leaders training conference. Zaher will spend more time in
ministry next year, as he reduced his working hours as
a Sports Teacher at school to a third.
- The Lord blesses the meetings of One Flock. There's a breakthrough
and slowly increasing understanding between churches and Congregations
grow.
Please pray for:
- Alon & Rajaa' as they are starting their new life.
- King's Kids and House of Light different summer activities/ trips,
camps and conferences. Protection, prosperity and Finances to flow.
- Prisoners and their families to see the Lord and decide for Him.
- Heavenly power and wisdom for Anis & Nawal as well as for the
volunteers as in their ministry for people they face some difficult
and discouraging cases.
- Our youth and families to show more progress and understanding and
to take a stand for the Lord.
- A Christian farmer to help at the House of Light land.
- October 1st, the day Messianic congregations from the North and Arab
churches and ministries come together in a big gathering and fellowship,
to worship and praise their one and only Savior who unites them
- A needed car for the family which would also serve the ministry, as
Nawal goes visiting and counseling families and women almost on a
daily basis.
